Access

Use the Access tab to control who can create instances of the type, who can use the type in reports, and which access policy applies to instances of the type.

Setting	Description
Create Access	Select the roles that can create instances of the type.
Report Access	Select the roles that can use the type in reports.
Default Everyone Access	Grants the default everyone access behavior for the type.
Access Policy	Select a rule that adds conditions to instance access. See Access Policy for configuration details.

An access policy adds an extra condition after the primary access check. It does not grant access by itself. Use access policies when access depends on instance values or user profile values, such as allowing users to see instances for their own branch or department.
