File Types

Use the File Types tab to associate allowed file types with a type. File types define supported file extensions and MIME types that can be used when files are attached for that type.

Click Add File Type to select existing file type definitions. Save the type after adding or removing file type associations.

The file types grid shows:

Column	Description
Name	The associated file type. Select the name to open the file type definition.
Extension	The allowed file extension.
Mime Type	The MIME type for the file extension.
Actions	Provides actions such as removing the file type association.

Removing a file type from this tab removes the association from the type; it does not delete the file type definition.
